Jose Mourinho: Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is about style more than silverware now

The Blues' boss insists the club's enigmatic Russian remains fully committed to Stamford Bridge project and that his priority isn't trophies but thrills Having laid the foundations with their emphatic Premier League win last season, the Chelsea boss is satisfied that a new left-back and a successful move for Everton centre- back John Stoneswill give him everything he needs to keep the big man upstairs happy. Roman Abramovich may not have sanctioned a move for the likes of £70million- rated Paul Pogba- so far. But Mourinho maintains the Russian is more excited at the prospect of last season’s heroes turning on the style. As for whether Abramovich would now prefer another Champions League rather than a domestic title, the Special Onesaid: “Mr Abramovich, he doesn’t have a priority. “His priority is to see his club playing, playing well, growing up. Some young players coming from the academy, fighting for the titles. You are not just successful if you win. “Sometimes you don’t for some reasons. But he is happy with the club and I think he is enjoying it. I think we are a very happy group. “We know that our owner is not always present but he is always with us. He knows everything, he wants to be part of everything.”
