Luiz's PSG have played across Canada and USA in recent weeks as they prepared for 2015-16 with a number of friendly matches against the likes of Manchester United, Benfica and Chelsea.
The Ligue 1 side beat Lyon 2-0 in the Trophee des Champions on Saturday at a packed MLS stadiumand afterwards the Brazil defender admitted he can see himself playing in North America later in his career.
"In five or six years, MLS will be one of the biggest leagues in the world," the 28-year-old toldGQ Magazine. "Just look at the standard of players it's attracting. It will be the future of many of us.
"I believe that my career may very well go through the United States. It's fascinating how into football they are. We've seen the full stadiums in our friendly matches, it's madness."
David Luiz has a contract at Parc des Princes until June 30, 2019, having joined from Chelsea for €50 million last summer.
