Manchester City keep Iheanacho's EPL debut on ice

The Nigerian youth sensation was not on parade as the Citizens got off their English Premier League campaign to a flying start against West Brom on Monday night Nigeriayouth international, Kelechi Iheanachodid not make his much awaited English Premier League debut for Manchester Cityin their 3-0 away win against West Bromwich Albionon Monday night. Apart from this, the Nigerian seems to have bonded well with new summer signing Raheem Sterling, which strenghtened his case for regular first team action. The former Golden Eaglets star will now hope to earn his first topflight cap when City welcome reigning champions Chelsea to the Etihad on Sunday. Should this become reality, it could just be what the lad needs to draw the attention of Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh into handing him a senior team call up ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania on September 5 in Dar es Salaam.
