The event which was hosted by Samuel L. Jackson (Avengers 1 and 2, Pulp
Fiction, Kingsman) saw Lewis Hamilton of Mercedez Benz in Formula 1 pick
up the Sportsman of the year award.
Lewis Hamilton was named sportsman of the year for the second year running
Mourinho was however given the the Editors’ Special Award
Former England Striker Gary Lineker, Paul Rudd, Lionel Richie also graced the event.
Mourinho will be prod to add another award to his collection of silverwares and personal accolades. The Chelsea manager was appreciated by the Guinness book of records with four certificates to celebrate five records of his on Friday September 4.
