In a recent interview with Genevieve mag, actress Beverly Naya revealed the kind of men she would date, what put her off in a man and her take on premarital s*x.
On her kind of man the Beverly said:
“I can’t stand potbellies and beyond the physical, someone who doesn’t know how to treat me like a lady. I have a fear of settling down with the wrong guy and I won’t deny it and that’s probably why I haven’t found that ideal guy yet. I know he will come.
I am very ambitious and I know where I am going so anyone I am going to marry has to be successful in some way so that when we do get married. I am not the one doing everything.”
The actress also talked about s*x, saying: “I understand s*x before marriage. You don’t want to end up with someone who gives you bad s*x. I can respect a guy’s decision to abstain, but why? I get it for religious reasons. Ideally, I would love to abstain but I don’t want to be in a situation where the guy is impotent or can’t please me. I will resent him.”

Another Fire Outbreak In Sabon Gari Market, Kano (Photos + Video)
Just today, Saturday in the morning, say 3-4 a.m another fire outbreak occured in sabon gari market, thus recording the third fire outbreak in the same market.
The outbreak today was prominent in the food stuffs section.
After three unprecedented outbreaks this year, the source of the fire still remains unknown, although some people are saying stuffs like:
“Its punishment for those adding money on food stuffs”
“its the work of the enemies, they want to bring down the economy of the state.”

A bodybuilder who suffered heart failure was rushed to hospital for a transplant and now has an artificial heart he carries around in a backpack.
Andrew Jones, from Conneticut, first became unwell in 2012 after struggling to breathe during a run. He was horrified when two years later he started to cough up blood and developed a high fever.
In hospital, doctors diagnosed the 26-year-old with cardiomyopathy – a hereditary disease of the heart muscle – and soon he became so weak he couldn’t stand, walk or dress himself.

As there were no organs available, he was fitted with a pacemaker and an artificial heart – which he now carries around in a bag on his back. Despite his brush with death, he is now back to the gym and said he cries after workouts as he feels so ‘thankful to be alive’.
‘You can’t breathe, you can’t think, you don’t eat and you don’t sleep.
He continued: ‘Living with this disease put me in a pattern with depression and physical pain. ‘I had to stop working because I wouldn’t be able to stand for more than 10 minutes.
‘I dreaded going to the kitchen because that meant that I had to go up and down my stairs.
‘I couldn’t even get dressed without panting and gasping for air my life was falling apart and I just wanted relief.’
But since having the artificial heart implanted he has slowly recovered and is now back to training in the gym.
His artificial heart has two tubes that exit the body and are connected to a machine he carries around in a bag.
The machine delivers compressed air into the ventricles to allow blood to be pumped through the body.

Very Touching Story : 8 Year Old Girl Narrates How She Was Raped By 40 Year Old School Security Guard
An eight year old child has given us sordid details of her molestation in the hands of someone old enough to be her father. Truly sick.
The police have arrested a security guard of a public school in Lagos, Adeniyi Primary School, Itire, for allegedly raping an eight-year-old pupil.
The 40-year-old suspect, Friday Oshoba, aka Mopol, committed the alleged crime while the primary 2 pupil, Mercy (pseudonym), was waiting for her sister to pick her up after the school closed around 2pm.
Oshoba was said to have persuaded her to follow him to a deserted spot within the school and removed her underwear. He reportedly raped her afterwards.
It was gathered that a class five pupil, identified only as Bukola, who was sent on an errand by a schoolteacher, caught the guard in the act and reported to the teacher.
Mercy, on getting home, recounted the incident to her parents. An uncle of the girl followed her to the school the following day and reported the matter to the head teacher.
The head teacher was said to have invited policemen from the Itire division, leading to Oshoba’s arrest.
Mercy, in her statements to the police said:-
“I was in the school on May 11 at about 2pm when Mopol (Oshoba) called me to a place on the school premises. He removed my underwear and put his thing (m*****d) inside my bum-bum. Bukola, who is in primary five, saw us and reported to her teacher. I also told my daddy when I got home.”The suspect, an indigene of Ekpoma, Edo State, denied raping the girl, saying he did not know her name. Oshoba was, however, silent in his statement on whether he took Mercy to any spot as alleged.
He said:-
“The girl is one of our pupils in Adeniyi Primary School.However, a social worker at the Mirabel Centre, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, where medical examinations were carried out on the victim, said Mercy had bruises in her private parts.
“I did not know her name, but I know she is in Primary two. I did not do anything with her. I was married, but my wife left me and I don’t have any child.”
Oshoba was subsequently brought before an Apapa Magistrate’s Court by a police prosecutor, Francisca Job, on one count of rape.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge. The presiding magistrate, Mrs. A.O. Adegbite, admitted him to bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum

A few months ago, the Film and Video Producers and Marketers Association of Nigeria (FVPMAN) threatened to ban the actress for allegedly becoming exorbitant with her fees, which have shot up as high up as N2m for a movie role, while the rest of her peers are paid between N700,000 and N1.2million.
In her response, Johnson answered her critics to go for less payable actresses, if they are unable to pay her by saying, ‘Wats wrong when u keep quiet till u no wats up? no petition, no complain just fees those who can’t afford Heineken should stick with ‘Kai kai’.

England May Bar Nigeria Stars If Eagles Drop further In FIFA Rankings
The latest FIFA ratings have the Eagles at 70th in the world and according to experts, Nigeria players will be hardest hit should the team fall outside this ranking as one of the rules states work permit will only be considered for non-European players whose countries are within the top 70 in the world.
“If they (Nigeria) slip one more place, its players can’t play in England,” said African football expert Tunde Adelakun.
“Work permit laws for non-European players say the player’s country has to be in top 70 in the world.”
An immediate casualty of this could be Nigeria U20 skipper Kelechi Nwakali, who is set to soon sign a professional contract with Arsenal.
Nigeria international Umar Aminu of Turkish club Osmanlispor has also been linked with Premier League side Hull City, while Belgium-based Wilfred Ndidi has been mentioned to join Watford.
Nigeria stars in England include Odion Ighalo, Isaac Success (Watford), Ahmed Musa (Leicester City), Kelechi Iheanacho (Manchester City) and Mikel Obi, Victor Moses (Chelsea).

Nigerians Blast CNN For Tweeting Of How Nigeria Will Look Like In 2050 (Photos)
Nigerians have blasted one of world’s most popular news channel,CNN, over a photo they posted about How Nigeria Will look like in 2050.
Few hours ago,CNN Africa took to their Twitter Page and posted the above photo asking if this is how Lagos will look like in 2050.
The Photo Was later shared alongside an article detailing the perceived marginalization of residents of the state who live in Shanties.
Many Nigerians who didn’t bother to read the article felt insulted that the international media organization actually feels that Lagos could one day look like that.

7 Health Benefits Of Drinking Alcohol
According to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, "moderate alcohol consumption is defined as having up to one drink per day for women and up to two drinks per day for men. This definition is referring to the amount consumed on any single day and is not intended as an average over several days."
Now, we've all heard the reasons why alcohol is bad for you, but what about the benefits? Here is our list of seven ways that drinking alcohol in moderation (when you're of the legal drinking age of course) might benefit your health.
1. IT CAN LOWER YOUR RISK OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE
The School of Public Health at Harvard University found that "moderate amounts of alcohol raises levels of high-density lipoprotein, HDL, or 'good' cholesterol and higher HDL levels are associated with greater protection against heart disease. Moderate alcohol consumption has also been linked with beneficial changes ranging from better sensitivity to insulin to improvements in factors that influence blood clotting....Such changes would tend to prevent the formation of small blood clots that can block arteries in the heart, neck, and brain, the ultimate cause of many heart attacks and the most common kind of stroke." This finding is applicable to both men and women who have not been previously diagnosed with any type of cardiovascular disease.
2. IT CAN LENGTHEN YOUR LIFE
Drinking occasionally could add a few years to your life. A study by the Catholic University of Campobasso reported that drinking less than four or two drinks per day for men and women respectively could reduce the risk of death by 18 percent, as reported by Reuters. "Little amounts, preferably during meals, this appears to be the right way (to drink alcohol)," said Dr. Giovanni de Gaetano of Catholic University, another author on the study. "This is another feature of the Mediterranean diet, where alcohol, wine above all, is the ideal partner of a dinner or lunch, but that's all: the rest of the day must be absolutely alcohol-free."
3. IT CAN IMPROVE YOUR LIBIDO
Contrary to prior beliefs, newer research has found that moderate drinking might actually protect against erectile dysfunction in the same way that drinking red wine might benefit heart disease. In a 2009
study published in the, Journal of Sexual Medicine, researchers found that the chances of erectile dysfunction were reduced by 25 to 30 percent among alcohol drinkers. The lead researcher, Kew-Kim Chew, an epidemiologist at the University of West Australia, conducted the study with 1,770 Australian men. In his study, Chew cautiously noted that he and his team in no way are advising men to hit the bottle, and that further research is needed to accurately connect impotence and alcohol consumption.
4. IT HELPS PREVENT AGAINST THE COMMON COLD
The Department of Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University
found that while susceptibility to the common cold was increased by smoking, moderate alcohol consumption led to a decrease in common cold cases for nonsmokers. This study was conducted in 1993 with 391 adults. In 2002, according to the New York Times, Spanish researchers found that by drinking eight to 14 glasses of wine per week, particularly red wine, one could see a 60-percent reduction in the risk of developing a cold. The scientists suspected that this had something to do with the antioxidant properties of wine.
5. IT CAN DECREASE CHANCES OF DEVELOPING DEMENTIA
In a study that included more than 365,000 participants since 1977, as reported in the journal Neuropsychiatric Disease and Treatment, moderate drinkers were 23 percent less likely to develop cognitive impairment or Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. "Small amounts of alcohol might, in effect, make brain cells more fit. Alcohol in moderate amounts stresses cells and thus toughens them up to cope with major stresses down the road that could cause dementia," said Edward J. Neafsey, Ph.D., co-author of the study, as reported by
Science Daily . "We don't recommend that nondrinkers start drinking," Neafsey said. "But moderate drinking — if it is truly moderate — can be beneficial."
6. IT CAN REDUCE THE RISK OF GALLSTONES
Drinking two units of alcohol per day can reduce the risk of gallstones by one-third, according to researchers at the University of East Anglia. The study found that those who reported consuming two UK units of alcohol per day had a one-third reduction in their risk of developing gallstones. "Researchers emphasized that their findings show the benefits of moderate alcohol intake but stress that excessive alcohol intake can cause health problems," according to the study.
7. LOWERS THE CHANCE OF DIABETES
Results of a Dutch
study showed that healthy adults who drink one to two glasses per day have a decreased chance of developing type 2 diabetes, in comparison to those who don't drink at all. "The results of the investigation show that moderate alcohol consumption can play a part in a healthy lifestyle to help reduce the risk of developing diabetes type 2," researchers said in a statement to Reuters.

She was married to popular OAP, Esosa Don Momoh at the time of her death. Kefee died at the age of 34.
2. Dagrin
Dagrin left behind a blossoming career and heartbroken parents. A biopic titled Ghetto Dreamz has since been produced to celebrate the Ogun state born rapper. Dagrin was barely 23 at the time of his death.
3. Goldie
The singer died as a result of complications emerging from a lung failure. She died on February 14, 2013, 8 months before her 30th.
4. Fada U-Turn
Born Olufemi Mayomi, Fada U-Turn is best remembered for his popular reggae inspires songs especially ‘Yetunde’ which rocked the Nigerian music scene in the 90s.
He died on Sunday, November 17, 2013 due to a kidney related disease. Fada U-Turn was buried on the same day in Badagry, Lagos. He’s survived by a wife and 3 kids. He died at the age of 36.
5. MC Loph
His career was on the rise, his song was already becoming a fan favorite across the country but his dream of getting to his peak dwarfed by death. MC Loph died in an auto accident on Benin-Ore expressway on September 14, 2011.
6. Sunny T
Popular Fuji musician, Sunny T also makes the list of entertainers who died before the age of 40. The veteran music act, who made record as the first Igbo man to sing Fuji (which is predominantly a Yoruba genre) died on July 1, 2012.
7. Bisi Komolafe
It was indeed another dim moment for the Nigerian entertainment industry after the death of budding actress, Bisi Komolafe was confirmed.
The pretty actress who was a product of Lagos State University died on December 31, 2012 at the University Teaching Hospital, Ibadan. She died at the age of 27.
8. Muna Obiekwe
The year 2015 was started on sad not for Nigerian entertainment when popular Nollywood actor, Muna Obiekwe lost his battle with Kidney disease. Muna died on Sunday, January 18, 2015. He died at the age of 36.
9. Lukuluku Bantashi
10. Zara Gretti
Like the others on the list, popular singer, Zara died in her prime after a battle with multiple scesclerosis. Born Margret Oluwatoyin Ejiro Joseph, Zara died at the age of 28.
11. Ireti
Adebimpe Adekola popularly known as Ireti was a popular 90s actress who was the leading female in the Yoruba sector of the Nigerian movie industry. She died on Friday, September 27, 2002. Ireti was in her early 30s.
