Nigerians Set to Face Another Fuel Scarcity as PENGASSAN Announces Strike

Nigerians may soon be experiencing fuel scarcity as the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, PENGASSAN, yesterday, directed its members nationwide to begin a strike from Thursday.

Nigerian Eye reports that the strike is due to government’s refusal to address pending issues affecting the oil industry.

PENGASSAN Acting General Secretary, Lumumba Okugbawa, wsaid the strike will affect all sub-sectors of the oil and gas industry, including the upstream, the midstream and the downstream sectors.
